Today was a Friday but there wasn’t any school. Why? We are ready to embark on our three gorges tour!
We gathered at 1 pm, hopped on the bus and travel to Yi Chang. It was 7pm by the time we reached there.
Had dinner at one of their local restaurant. Their local people have the habit of eating the main dishes first before eating plain rice. Whereas in Singapore, we eat the dishes along with the rice.
After that the driver drove into the three gorges road. The scenery was mesmerizing. Two-third of the terrain was nothing but mountain. we get to see the dam and passed by the 4star hotel where their minister stay before the opening ceremony of the opening of the bridge which linked one side of the mountain to the other.
Arrived at the cruise terminal at 8pm, took our tickets and room keys and before 9pm I was inside my cozy room with Daryl (my room-mate).
Majority of today’s time as spent at the bus travelling from Wuhan to Yi Chang.
Reflection: i learnt that i have to tolerate and accept my classmates living lifestyle. In our 42 days, we are going to depend on one another very closely such as waking one another up for those who are hard to wake up. I also learnt to plan my wake up time as each of us needs time to bath and brush our teeth, get dress and more. Thus we have to know our mates well and adapt to one another lifestyle.
