Day 23 - IS lesson and 江汉路步行街.

Realize that there is a difference in China and western culture. In China, the people are more humble and they then to treat their guest very well and nicely making sure than they won't feel uncomfortable in a foreign place. However, in the western side, the people are more straight forward and they tend to give one another more private space. Thus, one of the sides may get offended when they have cross cultural exchange.

almost everyone is sick today. fever, stomachache and more but we still continue our shopping spree at our usual place.
This is a famous stall that we found over there specialize in making 汤包。

Is your saliva drooping?

COCO bubble tea. Its nice and famous over here though its pricey.

we had dinner over there before taking the bus 588 home. We always have to rush and fight for our seats when we come to this district and it gets very crowded and stuffy when the bus is fully packed.

Reflection:

Being in a foreign country, i think it is important to check up on their background and history and to find out a little bit about their culture so that we don't offend the other party. Take for example, being straight forward may be what we are used to. But in china, the people may be more courteous and humble towards their guest and do not say things straight out to prevent offending the guest. Thus, researching on a country background is important. Take for example, a company deciding to set up a branch in China. It is natural that they did a research so that their product commercial and promotions turn out to become a success instead of the other way round.
